I graduated from Eufaula High School in 1994.  I graduated from Auburn University in 1998 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Physical Education endorsement to become a Physical Education teacher in 2023.

Hi!  My name is Tressa Roten, and I am a Physical Education teacher at Daniel Pratt Elementary School. Students refer to me as "Coach T". This is my 27th year as an educator. The last 20 of those years have been spent right here at Daniel Pratt.  I taught in the General Education classroom for 25 years, grades 1st thru 5th (primarily first grade). This is my second year as a PE teacher.

I have three wonderful children -two boys and a girl. Mason is 22 years old and a senior at Auburn University at Montgomery.  Ryley is 20 years old and a junior at Auburn University.  My daughter, Josie, is 16 years old and is a junior at Prattville High School.  

I am so excited about another great year at DPES! I love our school, our students, and my job! :)
