I graduated from Eufaula High School in 1994.  I graduated from Auburn University in 1998 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Physical Education endorsement to become a Physical Education teacher in 2023.

Hi!  My name is Tressa Roten, and I am a Physical Education teacher at Daniel Pratt Elementary School. This year is my 26th year as an educator. The last 19 of those years have been spent right here at Daniel Pratt.  I taught in the General Education classroom for 25 years. I taught grades 1st thru 5th during those 25 years. This year is my first year as a Physical Education teacher. I am so excited about this new chapter in my career!

I have three wonderful children -two boys and a girl. Mason is 21 years old and is a Junior at Auburn University at Montgomery.  Ryley is 20 years old and is a Sophomore at Auburn University at Montgomery.  My daughter, Josie, is 15 years old and is a Sophomore at Prattville High School.  

I look forward to serving ALL of our students here at Daniel Pratt this year!
