Week of 4/21-4/25
Pony & Two-Bit visit Johnny and Dally in the hospital, and the Rumble is on!!! Stay tuned!!
We have a great week ahead! We will get back to our normal skills and routines this week. We will continue reading The Outsiders this week with chapters 8-9, and maybe Ch. 10. Our 5.1 skills for the week include plot & theme, contractions & negatives, and suffixes: ate, ive, ship. We have our field trip on Thursday to the Huntsville Space & Rocket Center. Please be at the school NO later than 6 am! We will be leaving at that time so we can be there at a scheduled time. I'm looking forward to a fantastic week!!
Love, Mrs. Thrash :)

Study this poem and recite to me by 4/30:
Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay
